The mutual fund Expat New Europe Stocks is being renamed Expat Emerging Markets Stocks to reflect a change in its investment profile

17.06.2015

The Financial Supervision Commission has approved the amendments of the name and Rules of the mutual fund Expat New Europe Stocks. Following the decision, the fund has been renamed Expat Emerging Markets Stocks. As the name suggests, its main investment focus will now be investments in equities of listed companies from emerging markets.

Previously, Expat New Europe Stocks was intended mainly for investments in equities from CEE, SEE and the CIS countries. Expat Emerging Markets Stocks will give the investors a broader access to stock markets of high liquidity in Asia and South America, as well as (to a lesser extent) to equities on the developed markets. As a result, the fund will be more diversified. There will be no changes in the management fees, purchase and redemption fees.

Expat Emerging Markets Stocks (formerly known as Expat New Europe Stocks) was founded in 2008. Currently, the net asset value of the fund is more than BGN 908 000.

Expat Asset Management is a licensed asset management subsidiary wholly owned by Expat Capital. The company manages hundreds of individual investment portfolios and three mutual funds – Expat Global Equities focused on investments in liquid equities on the global markets, Expat Bonds focused on global bond markets, and Expat Emerging Markets with its new profile.
